I added this to the information for the community, but I thought I'd note here as well that selling your used textbooks is totally okay here. We all know (I think) that textbooks are ridiculously expensive and the whole buyback thing is sort of a ripoff.

Sooo, feel free to market your St. Kates textbooks here.

(Also a side note: Searching around eBay and Half.com is completely worth it. I saved about $300 by doing that.)

I'm an incoming freshman and have no idea what books to buy! Do they send book lists and if so, WHEN?!

Go to St. Kates' Website and click on the "bookstore" link. From there, you can do the "find textbooks" thing, where you search by department, class, instructor, etc. and it will magically tell you what books you need. You can then buy them either new or used from the bookstore at St. Kates, or you can go to half.com or your friendly local bookstore and buy them there.

Personally, I'd reccomend looking for them used ELSEWHERE FIRST. You can buy books from the bookstore on Labor Day weekend, but it'll probably be crowded then, so if you can get there prior to that, you'll be in and out much quicker.
